Branding a clothing business with a good cause, with each sale a percentage contributes to building schools in Africa and eventually expanding globally.
A clothing brand that’s inspired by Africa, its history, the traditional colour’s and people with the owners being African too they both brought insight to how they want this business to run with a slight twist with each sale, a great USP. Once you make a purchase as a customer you are then able to access the private part of the website with a personal code to login. This login credentials will allow you to track the progress of the school or schools you have contributed to through your purchase.
This project was quite unique, and I really wanted to understand the vision my clients wanted to bring to life with AREA CODE. From a clothing perspective the colour’s and brand style was very minimal and quite ahead of its time with a few tribal elements but only on packaging. Colour was important in capturing an African essence with earthy tones but also deep reds too. From a branding standpoint this was clean, clear and not busy. The typeface, colour’s and photography work perfectly together.
